Monday nights (or Sunday mornings if I worked on Monday night) Have become my absolute favorite time of the week. It was so nice to curl up on the couch with a blanket and a snack and watch the gorgeous and hilarious Kaitlyn Bristowe win the hearts of 25 guys, America, and my mother and I.

All I need to say is this: Phew. I felt like the entire season I’ve been holding my breath and I was finally able to breathe after Kaitlyn told Shawn she loved him! Okay, okay, let’s backtrack. From the first night of Chris’ season, I was #TeamBritt. Then I started following Kaitlyn on social media and I was like, “Darn, I think I love them both. I would also have a hard time choosing which girl I wanted to date.” So, when Kaitlyn was chosen, I was both happy and sad. It was a win-win for my viewing pleasure. I had predicted from the start that Jared and Shawn were going to make it far. (Obviously with no clue that Nick would swoop in and steal her heart). Jared and Shawn have been my absolute FAVES the entire season! Jared is such a sweetheart and I felt my heart clench each time he got sentimental with Kaitlyn. Nick really rubbed me the wrong way. I didn’t watch Andi’s season, I so I definitely had to educate myself. I tried to put myself in the guys’ shoes, and I would totally be butt hurt and stomp around like a child.

I personally don’t agree with Kaitlyn’s decision to bring Nick in, but also, who am I to judge? This girl is looking for a HUSBAND! Also, imagine if she hadn’t explored her and Nick’s relationship; it could’ve lead to problems after handing out the final rose. Also, let’s not forget, she also had a life before becoming the bachelorette! It must be confusing to see someone that she had feelings for outside of the show.

Also, what’s with making Shawn to be the bad guy for getting jealous? Don’t you think he was actually the only one who reacted NORMALLY to watching the girl he was falling in love with date 15 other guys? I dunno, just sayin.

All together, I think that Kaitlyn and Shawn make an insanely beautiful couple. Chris and Whitney’s breakup wasn’t a shock or a let down for me. However, I’m realling holding out for Shawn and Kaitlyn! Shaitlyn? Shawlyn? Kawn? I should look their couple name up for more accuracy. ALSO let’s not forget about Kaitlyn’s INSANE wardrobe this season! I shed a tear each rose ceremony.

Also also ALSO, here’s to Ben H and his undeniable position as the next Bachelor! Let’s be honest, how is he NOT going to be the Bachelor?!

What are your thoughs on Kaitlyn’s season?

Lately, I’ve been trying to drag myself up out of bed around 8 or 8:30 to get a head start on my day. My sleeping pattern is so thrown off due to my work hours, so usually I sleep in until 11:30 when ever I get the chance. This, of course, causes me to be even MORE tired than before (even when I don’t think it’s possible to be even more tired). When I wake up early, I get enough time to build some energy and get started on my day so I’m not running around finishing things last minute.  Here’s some things I’ve been going by each morning!

The night before//

I’ve been trying to end my day with a relaxing hot bath. Especially after a long and hectic day, your mind is still trying to catch up with your body. This causes you to stay up until the early hours of the morning, which then causes you to sleep until the late hours in the afternoon. Ending the day with a bath can relax your mind which can allow you to mentally end the day and go to sleep with a clear mind.

It’s so much easier waking up knowing that your day is already planned out. This can reduce stress in the morning by thinking about all the things you need to do and what to do first.

Who doesn’t wake up in a good mood when you know the first thing you do is consume delicious food!? Lately, I’ve been making an over-easy egg with a slice of a whole wheat bagel thin and two slices of turkey bacon.

The morning of//

If you make your bed first thing each morning, you will be more likely to reduce stress since making your bed can make you feel a sense of accomplishment. Beginning your day with a feeling of accomplishment can ONLY mean good things! Plus, it lets your mind know that bed time is over for the day.

While you’re enjoying your morning coffee or tea, have “me” time. Especially if you have a busy day ahead of you, beginning your day with a little relaxation and time for your own self-enjoyment will lift your spirits. I’ve been reading my favorite blogs, my boyfriend’s favorite book that I FINALLY started to read, or lately I’ve been enjoying the Cosmopolitan articles on snapchat.

Stretching or meditation can sync up your mind and your body, making for a balanced and peaceful day.

Complete a task one at a time. Do not think that every task has to be done all at once, or else you’ll never get any of them done! Tip: In my planner, Ive been writing an inspiring quote each day to go by. It puts me in a good mood and each time I’m feeling down, I say the quote to myself to ease my stress.
